Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt is offering treasury bonds (T-bonds) worth a total of EGP 10.25 billion over two tranches on Monday.
The first issue stands at EGP 9.5 billion in value, holding a tenor of three years until 7 December 2024.
The second auction amounts to EGP 750 million, and carries a maturity period of seven years until 12 October 2028.
The Central Bank of Egypt’s (CBE) last T-bonds offering was on 29 November, when EGP 9.5 billion worth of notes were issued over three tranches.
